A light at the end of the tunnel

It all started five years ago as an undergraduate who gained admission at the University of Nigeria Nsukka to study nursing.
In happiness and joy ,the semester start with lectures, practicals and seminars. At the tail end of the semester, I met this friend named Samuel who was also a student in his fourth year while I was in my first friend.
He was very caring, helpful and always ready to give a listening ear and a shoulder to lay on, tall, handsome, God fearing, intelligent and always focused.
We continued as friends till his final year, when he officially asked me out to be his girlfriend which I accepted, and a wonderful love path started for both of us.
He calls were encouraging, always waited for his call, early morning messages were mind blowing and outings were too good to miss.
After his graduation, he went for service and I was till school, that was when he called off the relationship because he has met another person.
I was so devastated and frustrated that I promised never to fall in love again, I took a break just to cool off, I met Emmanuel and we got married.
He became the light at the end of my tunnel.
